Community Restorative Centre Ltd. in Broken Hill invites applications for a Transition Worker. This full-time role delivers holistic, trauma-informed throughcare pre- and post-release support for First Nations people with complex needs. You’ll travel regionally to Wilcannia and Menindee and help reconnect people with culture and community.

The position offers SCHADS Award Level 4 paypoint 4 (about $99,294 annually) plus super and salary packaging, with extra leave over Christmas and New Year.

Competenze

• Experience and/or relevant qualifications in intensive outreach case management or comparable support for people with complex needs.
• Demonstrated cultural capability working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
• Knowledge of the Broken Hill/Far West service environment or ability to rapidly develop it.
• Proven ability to build culturally respectful relationships with clients and local services.

• Provide holistic, intensive outreach case work within a throughcare model pre- and post-release.
• Connect clients to culture and community to create sustainable pathways away from the criminal system.
• Deliver support across Broken Hill with travel to Wilcannia and Menindee as required.
