Job summary

EVT Group’s Thredbo resort is seeking a Trail Crew to maintain and build summer walking tracks, lift stations and huts, supporting a high-altitude, year-round destination.

You will operate 4x4 vehicles, use tools and generators, and perform day-to-day resort tasks such as painting, raking, and signage installation, with safety and environmental policies guiding your work.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s Licence is required.
• First aid certificate is desirable.
• Valid construction white card is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate 4x4 vehicles on mountain roads and in the village.
• Use and operate tools, generators and power cords.
• Perform day-to-day resort tasks including painting, shovelling, raking, hammering, carrying rocks, scrub and tree removal, and installing signage and wooden stakes.
• Revegetation of disturbed soil and adherence to environmental policies and procedures.

The role of Trail Crew is an outdoor position focused on the maintenance of existing and future infrastructure such as summer walking tracks, lift stations & huts.

Role Specific Duties

• Operation 4x4 vehicles on mountain roads and in the village
• Use and operation of tools, generators and power cords
• General duties required in the day-to-day operation of resort facilities including painting shovelling, raking, hammering, carrying rocks, scrub and tree removal as well as installing signage, conduit and wooden stakes
• Revegetation of disturbed soil and compliance with all environmental policies and procedures

Skills & Experience

• First aid certificate (desirable)
