Job summary

Thredbo Alpine Village is seeking a Lift Attendant to help keep our mountain adventures safe and enjoyable. You will be on the front line delivering excellent customer service, operating lifts, and assisting guests in all weather conditions.

This role offers a flexible work-life balance to enjoy the mountain, with optimistic teammates and a supportive team culture. Prior lift experience is desirable but not required; physical fitness and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Reliable and able to work under pressure.
• Previous lift attendant experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate lifts and assist guests on the mountain.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed in all weather conditions.
• Assist guests with information and directions.

This department keeps the fun spinning, literally! Thredbo’s lift gurus are front line when it comes to getting people safely up the mountain to enjoy Thredbo’s runs and trails. The Lift Operations team have one of the best 'office' views around and embrace the outdoors and the work that comes with it, in all of Mother Nature’s moods. If you want to work outdoors to help provide safe and efficient operation of our lifts whilst providing excellent and consistent levels of customer services, this is the job for you!

This role will provide a flexible work life balance to make sure you have time to enjoy the mountain.

Skills & Experience

• Optimistic with a positive attitude and loads of initiative.
• Physically able to safely perform the inherit requirements of this role, which may include standing for extended periods, lifting or carrying items and working in varying environmental conditions.
• Reliable and can handle pressure with professionalism.
• Previous experience as a lift attendant (desirable).
