Proofpoint is seeking a seasoned Threat Hunter to join our Australia team. You will lead proactive email-borne threat investigations, analyze headers, URLs, and attachments, and translate findings into actionable protections for our clients.

You will collaborate with threat research, detection engineering, and product teams, provide customer-facing briefings, and drive improvements to prevent attacks across Proofpoint solutions.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of industry experience in client/professional services, sales engineering, or senior engineering roles.
• Managed security or consultancy experience is required.
• Knowledge of data communication concepts and technologies, specifically email and networking.
• Develop innovative ways to leverage existing data and correlate customer data with other sets available at Proofpoint.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange.
• History of motivating and inspiring coworkers and ensuring team efficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and monitor support interactions, and serve as an internal advocate for strategic customers.
• Meet regularly with clients to review support interactions, system status, key issues, and threats.
• Develop deep understanding of customer’s business and operational needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Proofpoint integration within the customer's environment.
• Plan and lead process improvements to improve customer satisfaction with Proofpoint services.
• Provide proactive recommendations to protect customer information assets using Proofpoint products.
• Identify and prioritize short- and long-term goals.
• Lead risk assessment for production changes across multiple services or technologies.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and escalate concerns as needed.
• Provide technical guidance to customer teams and respond to product feature inquiries.
