Brightwater Care Group invites applications for a Therapy Assistant to join our community-based care team. You will travel to clients’ homes across central northern Perth to support functional goals in a 12-week program, under physiotherapist and occupational therapist direction.
Casual hours typically run 8am to 4:30pm. A valid WA driver’s licence, insured car, and a current First Aid/CPR certificate are essential, with Brightwater offering benefits and a long-standing history in aged care.
Our Therapy Assistants work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide assistance in all aspects of day-to-day care and individualised therapy, lifestyle and leisure programs to meet the needs of our clients who live in the community.
Under the direction of physiotherapists and occupational therapists you will work independently and travel to our clients’ homes to support them in achieving their functional goals in a 12-week program. This will include assisting them with personal care (showering, toileting etc).
We are seeking a Therapy Assistant that lives close to our elderly clients living in and around the central northern suburbs of Perth. Preference will be given to a someone living close to the Stirling, Dianella, Morley, Bayswater and Mt Lawley area.
This is a casual opportunity where typical hours would be anywhere between 8am to 4.30pm
