Job summary

Brightwater Care seeks a reliable Therapy Assistant for our brain rehabilitation service in East Victoria Park, WA. This is a permanent full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm, within our disability services team.

The position offers salary packaging, BrightwaterPlus discounts, extensive learning and development, and free on-site parking. A Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance (or progress toward) and a C class licence with a police clearance and NDIS clearance are required.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
• Ability to prioritise workload, problem solve, and work safely and efficiently under pressure without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a variety of therapeutic and recreational programs to meet clients’ holistic needs per Care Plans.
• Contribute to the development of innovative therapy programs to improve client wellbeing.
• Support volunteers to enhance the site therapy program.
• Complete documentation and reporting to support disability service standards and compliance.
