Job summary

Brightwater invites applicants for the Therapy Assistant (Advanced Skills) role within Community Access Program, North of River. You will coordinate CAP activities, transport clients safely, support outings, and work with a multidisciplinary team to tailor experiences to each resident's goals and wellbeing needs.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or progress towards Allied Health degree.
• WA C Class Driver's Licence required.
• Passenger Transport Driver (PTD) Authorisation required.
• Knowlege of road safety and transport regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience engaging with older adults, including dementia or brain injury.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and in multidisciplinary teams.
• National Police Clearance within 12 months.
• NDIS Workers Screening Check current.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate Brightwater's Community Access Program (CAP).
• Safely transport clients and support them during outings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to tailor experiences to individual goals.
• Provide personalised wellbeing support during activities.
• Contribute to quality outcomes for clients and families.
