Job summary

The Garage at RAA is creating a brand-new growth and incubation centre in Adelaide. As the Finance Domain Lead, you will identify opportunities, shape innovative financial products and propositions, and lead new ventures from concept through to validation and launch readiness.

You’ll collaborate across strategy, customer insight, product development and commercial growth to create value for members. You’ll challenge assumptions, test bold ideas, and use evidence and market insights to determine

• Significant experience developing new products, propositions or growth opportunities within financial services, insurance or related industries.
• A strong understanding of customer needs, market dynamics and emerging trends in finance and financial wellbeing.
• Experience using customer insight, research and commercial evidence to shape investment and proposition decisions.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to assess the viability and growth potential of new opportunities.
• Experience building successful partnerships and influencing outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups.
• A passion for experimentation, continuous learning and creating meaningful member outcomes.

Designed as a standalone growth engine, it brings together expertise in product, design, technology, data and commercial strategy to rapidly test, learn and scale new opportunities.

As the Finance Domain Lead, you'll have the rare opportunity to build and grow an entirely new financial services domain within The Garage. You'll identify emerging opportunities, shape innovative products and propositions, build strategic partnerships, and lead new ventures from concept through to validation and launch readiness. Working across strategy, customer insight, product development and commercial growth, you'll combine big-picture thinking with hands-on execution to create new sources of value for RAA members. You'll challenge assumptions, test bold ideas, and use evidence and market insights to determine which opportunities should scale, evolve or stop. This is an opportunity to help define the future of financial services at RAA while working at the forefront of growth, innovation and venture creation.
