Job summary

RAA in Adelaide CBD is seeking a Marketing Specialist to bring motoring and home products to South Australians. You will work under the Marketing Manager, Motoring & Home and ensure campaigns are grounded in member needs and commercial priorities.

Day-to-day, you will plan and deliver campaigns, brief content and design teams, track performance, support product roadmap and pricing decisions, and align channels with member insights.

Qualifications

• Marketing, Communications, Business degree or equivalent required.
• Experience planning and delivering multi-channel marketing plans.
• Pricing analysis and commercial decision experience desirable.

Challenge yourself and make a difference - it all starts here. We're looking for a Marketing Specialist who is commercially minded, highly organised and has strong communication and stakeholder skills.

The Role

Help bring RAA's motoring and home products to South Australians. As our Marketing Specialist, reporting to the Marketing Manager, Motoring & Home, you'll work across all four Ps of marketing (product, price, place and promotion) so every campaign is grounded in what members and the market need, and tied to commercial priorities.

Day to day, you'll:

• Support the planning and delivery of marketing plans and promotional campaigns, developing fresh approaches where established playbooks don't fit
• Brief and coordinate content, design and media resources to deliver campaigns on time and on brief
• Track campaign performance against targets and adjust plans based on what the data shows
• Support the product roadmap and pricing decisions, analysing prices and margins to balance member value with commercial return
• Apply human-in-the-loop judgement to AI-supported pricing and market analysis, so recommendations are accurate, current and defensible
• Partner with Acquisition Leads, Brand, Market Research and Membership teams to keep channels, messaging and member insights aligned

About You

You will be a confident and passionate self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a high performing culture. We are also looking for:

• A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline
• At least 3 years' experience in marketing and/or category management, planning and delivering category or product marketing plans in a multi-channel environment
• Experience supporting product roadmap or pricing decisions in a commercial or member-based environment, working closely with cross-functional teams
• Strong campaign planning and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage several concurrent priorities
• Working knowledge of category segmentation, targeting and positioning, marketing channels and performance measurement
• Sound commercial and product judgement, with knowledge of pricing methodology and commercial modelling - enough to spot when AI-generated analysis is flawed, incomplete or commercially unsound
• Clear written and verbal communication, with the judgement to brief creative and content resources effectively
• Experience in a member-based, automotive, energy or home services organisation, in product development, pricing analysis or commercial analytics, and a digital marketing or campaign management certification are highly regarded, but not essential
