Qualifications

• Previous experience as Kitchen Manager, Head Chef, or Sous Chef in a busy restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of a high-volume commercial kitchen
• Lead, supervise, roster, and train kitchen staff
• Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and authentic cooking standards
• Manage food ordering, inventory, and supplier relationships
• Monitor stock levels and minimise food waste
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
• Control kitchen costs, portion sizes, and margins
• Coordinate with front-of-house and management for smooth service
• Maintain efficient workflow during busy service periods
• Support continuous improvement of kitchen operations and team performance
