Employer Sponsored Jobs is seeking an experienced Chef to own a busy kitchen in Western Australia. You will lead a team, shape menus, and drive the future direction of the food operation while ensuring quality and consistency for a loyal customer base.

Based in Western Australia, you will work a hands-on, high-volume role with on-site accommodation and meals during shifts. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates relocating for this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.
• Experience in high-volume foodservice environments.
• Strong steak preparation and cooking skills.
• Ability to lead a kitchen and take responsibility for daily operations.
• Experience contributing to menu planning or development.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of daily kitchen operations and service delivery.
• Lead, coordinate and support kitchen staff.
• Prepare consistently high-quality meals across breakfast, lunch and dinner services.
• Maintain a strong standard of steak preparation and presentation.
• Contribute fresh ideas to improve the existing menu.
• Develop new dine-in and takeaway meal options.
• Modernise and expand breakfast selections.
• Maintain food quality, portion control and presentation standards.
• Coordinate food preparation for high-volume service periods.
• Monitor stock levels and manage kitchen ordering.
• Control food wastage and support cost management.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards.
• Ensure smooth kitchen workflow throughout busy periods.
• Train and guide kitchen team members where required.
• Work closely with management to improve the overall customer dining experience.
• Adapt to changing service requirements and maintain professional standards.
