Genesis Recruitment Solutions in Sydney CBD NSW is seeking an experienced Test Lead to own end-to-end testing for a complex digital transformation on an NSW Government contract. You will work with business SMEs, technical teams and vendors to shape testing strategy from planning through SIT, UAT, deployment and post-production validation.

You will lead testing across STRATEGY, test planning, scenarios, traceability and defect lifecycle, ensuring go-live readiness and quality.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Test Lead or Senior Test Analyst on complex digital or enterprise projects.
• Hands-on leadership of SIT and UAT efforts.
• Solid defect management, triage, severity and priority assessment.
• Strong understanding of requirements traceability across testing cycles.
• Experience coordinating testing across business, technical and vendor teams.
• Experience testing Microsoft Power Platform / Power Apps solutions.

Responsabilités

• Develop and own the Test Strategy and Test Plan.
• Lead and coordinate SIT and UAT testing activities.
• Develop test scenarios, test cases and acceptance criteria with traceability.
• Establish and manage the defect management lifecycle (triage to closure).
• Monitor test execution and report defects, risks and readiness.

An opportunity is available for an experienced Test Lead to take ownership of end-to-end testing across a complex digital transformation project.

Working across business SMEs, technical teams and implementation vendors, you will lead the testing approach from strategy and planning through SIT, UAT, deployment and post-production validation.

Responsibilities

• Developing and owning the overall Test Strategy and Test Plan
• Leading and coordinating System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Developing test scenarios, test cases, acceptance criteria and requirements traceability
• Establishing and managing the defect management lifecycle, including triage, prioritisation, retesting and closure
• Monitoring test execution and reporting on defects, risks, issues and overall readiness
• Providing evidence-based go-live readiness and quality assessments

Essential Criteria

• Strong experience as a Test Lead or Senior Test Analyst across complex digital or enterprise application projects
• Strong hands-on experience leading SIT and UAT
• Solid understanding of defect management, triage, severity and priority assessment
• Strong understanding of requirements traceability
• Experience managing testing dependencies across environments, test data, releases and deployments
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate testing across business, technical and vendor teams
• Experience testing Microsoft Power Platform / Power Apps solutions
