Job summary

Melbourne-based transformation program seeks an experienced SAP Test Lead to own the testing function across Payroll and Time Transformation. You will establish the test strategy, lead SIT/UAT, and coordinate testing with internal teams and multiple vendors.

The role involves end-to-end testing across Payroll, Time & Attendance and related systems, with a focus on governance, risk management and stakeholder engagement in a complex landscape. Initial 6-month contract with extension potential.

SAP Test Lead - Payroll & Time Transformation

We are seeking an experienced SAP Test Lead to join a major Payroll and Time & Attendance transformation currently underway in Melbourne.

This is an initial 6-month contract, however the program will run well into 2027, offering excellent potential for extension.

The project has recently completed the design phase and is moving into build. This is a key role responsible for establishing the testing approach and providing end-to-end testing assurance across the transformation.

The Role

• You will take ownership of the testing function across the program, working closely with internal teams, business stakeholders and multiple vendors. Responsibilities will include:
• Develop and establish the overall test strategy, approach and planning
• Provide end-to-end testing assurance across the transformation
• Lead and coordinate SIT and UAT
• Oversee integration testing across Payroll, Time & Attendance and surrounding systems
• Establish appropriate testing governance, processes and reporting
• Coordinate testing activities across internal teams and external vendors
• Identify and manage testing risks, issues and dependencies
• Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure appropriate test coverage and readiness
• Support the program through build, testing, deployment and transition

Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone with strong Test Lead / Test Manager experience who has worked on complex, large-scale transformation programs.

You will ideally bring:

• Strong Payroll testing experience
• End-to-end integration testing
• SIT and UAT leadership
• Test strategy and planning
• Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills
• Experience working across complex system landscapes
• Highly Desirable
