Job summary

Slade Group is seeking a Senior Test Lead to take ownership of the testing program for a major WMS/ERP transformation. You will set direction, coordinate internal QA and external/vendor teams, and ensure testing is delivered on time while remaining hands-on when needed.

You will drive SIT, UAT, end-to-end and regression testing across multiple streams, identify risks early, and hold vendors to account. Strong leadership and proactive planning are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Senior Test Lead or Test Manager on large-scale programs.
• WMS, ERP or enterprise transformation experience.
• Experience leading testing teams and managing vendors.
• Track record of running multiple testing streams concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Own the test strategy, plans and schedules across the WMS program and its integrations.
• Lead and coordinate internal QAs and external/vendor testing teams across multiple streams.

Our client is undergoing a significant WMS/ERP transformation, and require a Senior Test Lead who will take genuine ownership, bring structure across multiple streams and keep internal teams and vendors moving in the same direction.

This isn't a role for working through assigned test cases. You'll set the direction, see what's coming and make sure testing is delivered on time, while staying hands-on when it counts.

What you'll bring

• Proven experience as a Senior Test Lead, Test Lead or Test Manager on large-scale programs
• WMS, ERP or enterprise transformation experience
• Strong background in complex integration and end-to-end testing
• Experience leading testing teams and managing third-party or offshore vendors
• A track record of running multiple testing streams at once
• The confidence to challenge stakeholders and vendors respectfully, and to influence without direct authority
• A proactive, organised approach: you plan ahead rather than wait for direction
