Job summary

Moon Recruitment is recruiting for a Test Lead role based in Geelong for an urgent Victorian Government Agency contract. The position requires leading end-to-end testing across the stream, while contributing to test planning, design, execution, and defect management.

Immediate start with a contract through to January 2027. You will collaborate with Programme Test Management, development and IT teams, automation groups and vendors to ensure testing aligns with the Programme Test Strategy.

Qualifications

• Strong infrastructure and security testing experience.
• Experience with security platforms; Check Point CloudGuard preferred.
• MuleSoft or Boomi integration testing experience.
• Proven API testing experience covering planning, execution and validation.
• Experience leading testing across complex enterprise environments.
• Strong defect management and triage experience.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments and sprint planning.
• Collaborates with Automation Teams on regression coverage.
• Exposure to Enterprise Infrastructure WIC and service virtualisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing activities for the stream.
• Develop and execute test strategies, plans, scenarios and test cases.
• Perform hands-on testing across infrastructure, security, integrations and APIs.
• Participate in Sprint Planning and Backlog Refinements.
• Manage defects from identification to resolution.
• Coordinate with vendors and IT teams to resolve defects.
• Improve regression test coverage with Automation Teams.
• Communicate testing risks and progress to stakeholders.
• Support service virtualisation and WIC activities.
• Undertake other reasonable testing and delivery activities as required.
