Job summary

Recruitment Hive is assisting a federal government agency in Canberra to hire a Test Lead. You will oversee testing activities, ensuring traceability from requirements to test cases and delivering governance across the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with test management tools, and the ability to communicate complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders. This is a on-site position with a focus on delivery within a public sector context.

Our client, an independent Federal Government agency responsible for implementing & administering the National Disability Insurance Scheme, require the services of a Test Lead.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Producing reports, interpreting data & analysing results using standard statistical techniques;
• Delivering impactful communication by translating technical & complex information clearly & concisely for diverse audiences;
• Building supportive, collaborative working relationships within & across teams, & engages with technical business areas to achieve outcomes.

Skills & Experience Required

• Implement Test Governance across the project Test lifecycle;
• Thorough understanding of Test Phases & Test Types & a detailed understanding of the Defect Management process & an ability to define key metrics for each;
• Experience in using generative AI & driving spec-driven practices to enforce design-first principle;
• Exposure to the Agile Delivery methodology.
