Job summary

Calleo is seeking a QA Lead to drive process improvements across the development lifecycle in Canberra / Sydney. The role involves liaising with stakeholders to define measurable acceptance criteria for new or enhanced software features and collaborating with development teams to understand architecture, constraints, and risks.

You will design and execute test strategies, manage defects, and ensure traceability from requirements to tests.

• Liaise with key stakeholders to understand business risks and impacts, and to define clear, measurable acceptance criteria for new or enhanced software features.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand system architecture, integrations, constraints, infrastructure, risks and downstream impacts of change.
• Design, maintain and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans and test cases, including regression testing to ensure ongoing system stability and quality.
• Manage defect identification, analysis, logging, prioritisation and verification of fixes through re-testing.
• Ensure full traceability between requirements, acceptance criteria, test scenarios and test cases.
• Select, apply and document appropriate test techniques and methodologies to support effective test coverage.
• Produce and maintain high‑quality test artefacts, including test plans, reports and metrics.

Job Location

Canberra / Sydney

Due to the nature of this role, this job is open to Australian Citizens only. Candidates who currently hold or able to obtain Federal Government Security Clearances are highly desirable.
