Job summary

Defence Intelligence Group (DIG) seeks a Senior Test & Evaluation Practitioner to join a specialist Defence Consultancy delivering critical intelligence capabilities within a major Defence portfolio in Canberra. You will plan, coordinate and conduct Test & Evaluation activities across the capability lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in Systems and Software Test & Evaluation.
• Verification and Validation (V&V) experience.
• Knowledge of systems engineering methodologies and assurance practices.
• Experience supporting Defence capability acquisition, sustainment or delivery programs.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and reporting skills.
• Ability to develop test plans, test reports and evaluation documentation.
• Understanding of Defence governance frameworks and capability lifecycles.
• Current Defence security clearance or ability to satisfy Defence security requirements.

Your new company This is an opportunity to join a specialist Defence Consultancy within an Intelligence program supporting the delivery and assurance of critical intelligence capabilities within a major Defence capability portfolio. Working within a highly classified and strategically important environment, you will contribute to the testing, verification and evaluation of systems that support Defence intelligence and targeting functions. Your new role As a Senior Test & Evaluation Practitioner, you will support Defence Intelligence Group (DIG) projects, products and programs by planning, coordinating and conducting Test & Evaluation (T&E) activities throughout the capability lifecycle.Working within the Defence Targeting Directorate, you will ensure systems and software solutions are tested, validated and assessed in accordance with Defence policies, standards and the One Defence Capability System (ODCS). This role will involve close engagement with project teams, technical specialists and stakeholders to provide assurance that delivered capability is fit for purpose and operationally effective

To be successful, you will have experience delivering Test & Evaluation outcomes within Defence, intelligence, systems engineering or complex ICT capability environments. You will demonstrate:
