Job summary

Allura Partners is recruiting for a Test Analyst with a major Australian bank undergoing a core migration. The role coordinates validation testing across customer journeys, operational processes, and migration readiness, reporting progress to Program Manager and SteerCo.

You will help build testing capability, governance, and automation across tools such as HP ALM, OpenText ALM, and Jira integration, with broad exposure to banking operations and vendor collaboration.

Qualifications

• Essential: strong business validation testing background across end-to-end banking processes.
• Governance discipline: requirements-to-test-case traceability, structured execution and audit evidence.
• Hands-on with enterprise test management tooling (HP ALM, OpenText ALM) and Jira integration.
• Reporting capability suitable for SteerCo and Program Manager audiences.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement to drive outcomes across teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute business validation testing across end-to-end banking processes.
• Maintain requirements-to-test-case traceability and audit-quality evidence.
• Run defect triage and manage defects with delivery teams and vendors.
• Produce execution and readiness reports for Program Manager and SteerCo.
• Build reusable test collateral and identify automation opportunities.
