Intralot in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Test Analyst to join a high-performing QA team. You will validate highly integrated platforms supporting gaming monitoring, regulatory controls and compliance across thousands of machines.

You will develop end-to-end test plans, perform functional and non-functional testing, and coordinate with development to ensure robust, compliant software before live deployment.

Qualifications

• 5 years+ experience as a Test Analyst.
• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience in software testing, quality assurance and ICT environments.
• Experience in manual and/or automated system testing, including embedded and back-office applications.
• Experience testing web-based applications and user interfaces.

About the role

As aTest Analyst, you will be an integral part of a high-performing testing and quality assurance team responsible for validating highly integrated, business-critical platforms.

TheGaming Monitoring platformsupports critical monitoring, financial transaction processing, regulatory controls and compliance functions across more than25,000 gaming machines throughout Victoria.

Integrated with the Monitoring platform,YourPlayis a state-wide pre-commitment solution that enables players to set limits, track their gaming activity and make more informed decisions about their play — helping foster a safer and more responsible gaming environment.

You will work across complex systems, integrations, interfaces and business processes, ensuring that solutions meet functional, technical, regulatory and operational requirements before they are introduced into a live environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and executeend-to-end test plans, scenarios and test cases

Performfunctional, non-functional, regression, system and integration testing

5 years + experience as a Test Analyst

Tertiary qualification inComputer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent experience

Strong experience insoftware testing, quality assurance and ICT environments

Experience inmanual and/or automated system testing, including integrated embedded systems and back-office applications

Experience testingweb-based applications and user interfaces

Strongtechnical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with the ability to identify and investigate issues to support Development teams

Strong understanding ofcommunications protocols, with the ability to learn and apply gaming protocols such asQCOM, GSA and SSI

Experience withTCP/IP, HTTP, FTP and serial communications

Technical skills acrossWindows, Linux/UNIX, scripting and test automation tools, including Shell, Perl, Python or similar

Exposure to thegaming industry and regulatory environmentsis desirable but not essential

Excellent verbal and communication skills

Excellent problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment

Disciplined approach to processes and the ability to work collaboratively
