Qualifications

• Proven sales, business development or account management experience.
• Experience in building products, construction or related industries.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a pipeline of profitable new business opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with builders, architects and trade customers.
• Achieve sales, revenue and margin targets across the territory.
• Conduct site visits and customer meetings.
• Prepare quotations and follow up sales opportunities.
• Read and interpret building plans and specifications.
• Complete plan take-offs and provide product recommendations.
• Maintain accurate customer records within CRM systems.
• Provide regular activity and sales reporting.
• Stay informed on industry trends, products and market developments.
