Job summary

PFD Food Services is recruiting a Sales Representative to cover the Tasmania region. You will be out on the road visiting cafés, schools and care providers, building trusted partnerships and identifying opportunities to grow sales.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience in foodservice, hospitality or customer-facing environment.
• Strong ability to read people, build rapport and tailor communication.
• Comfort working to KPIs and weekly rhythms while still running your day autonomously.
• Resilience and resourcefulness when unexpected challenges arise.
• Strong CRM discipline, planning and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Grow and retain a diverse customer base across cafés, restaurants, schools, and care providers.
• Protect base business while driving margin, basket growth and new opportunities.
• Use data, insights and local knowledge to plan and execute territory sales activity.
• Build internal relationships with branch operations, purchasing, customer service and transport.
• Collaborate with suppliers to bring products, promotions and solutions to customers.
• Maintain CRM updates, visit planning and weekly activity rhythms.
• Develop a healthy pipeline of prospective customers through networking and referrals.
• Act as a trusted advisor by understanding business needs and recommending solutions.
