Job summary

Komatsu Forklifts Australia is seeking an Area Sales Manager to own your Melbourne territory, drive sales of new and used forklifts, short-term hire solutions and ongoing customer business.

You'll build relationships, prospect new accounts and manage a full sales pipeline with Salesforce CRM, while enjoying a competitive commission structure and a car allowance. The role offers autonomy and strong support for success.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience, ideally in forklifts, capital equipment, automotive or mechanical products.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated with ability to work autonomously.
• Good organisational skills and confidence using CRM systems.
• A willingness to learn and pursue new business.
• Current driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting and visits.
• Manage and grow your territory and existing accounts.
• Drive sales of new and used forklifts and hire solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate deals and tailor solutions.
• Maintain an organised sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM and meet targets.
