Job summary

Signode in Australia is seeking a Sales Representative to manage a designated territory and drive new sales growth. You will build strong relationships with customers and Signode personnel, coordinate across purchasing, logistics, engineering, and service, and identify projects arising from customer operations.

The role focuses on expanding revenues and margins within nominated Signode accounts while pursuing new business opportunities in the territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop good working relationships with stakeholders (customers and Signode personnel).
• Develop relationships at multiple levels within customer base (production, maintenance, purchasing).
• Gain in-depth knowledge of customers’ operations to evaluate potential projects.
• Evaluate sales and develop projects for tools, equipment, and consumables.
• Report activity weekly in prescribed format.
• Monitor competitor activity and pricing strategies.
• Ensure Signode maintains high customer service levels with other departments (purchasing, logistics, finance, engineering, maintenance & service).
• Support other departments to maintain customer service levels.
• Account management to maintain revenues and margins within current Signode customers in territory.
• Implement business development strategies to achieve revenue/margin growth within the territory.
