Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Territory Development Representative for the WA Sales Team. This field-based role involves engaging distributors, customers and end users, driving store-level sales, and delivering product demonstrations to enhance understanding and adoption of DEWALT and other brands.

The position requires proactive relationship building, strong communication, and the ability to train customers and staff. Occasional weekend work may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer engagement and selling/business development.
• Experience engaging with end users and brand advocacy.
• Confidence and communication skills to present product initiatives to end users.
• Some experience in product training for internal or external parties.
• Interest to learn hardware industry specifications.
• Strong planning skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Passion to work with customers in the power/hand tool industry.
• Ability to do occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Driving store cluster sales performance.
• Executing focus sheets and developing relationships at store level.
• Promoting products through demos and training end users.
• Identifying in-store merchandising growth opportunities.
• Developing stakeholder relationships across departments.
• Training/demos at field days, in-store, and at major events.
• Planning weekly tasks in Salesforce and keeping calendar updated.
• Maintaining power tools, accessories, and materials for demos.
