Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia is seeking a Customer Support Representative to manage a designated territory and build strong customer relationships, driving sales growth across Hitachi and its filtration product range.

You will work with customers, resellers and internal teams to identify opportunities, deliver tailored solutions, and provide exceptional support that reinforces Hitachi's Total Customer Satisfaction commitment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated sales and customer service experience with a proven track record.
• Experience within Earthmoving, Mining, Automotive or similar industries is highly regarded.
• Commitment to Hitachi's Total Customer Satisfaction through strong, long-term relationships.
• Previous experience using CRM or similar systems.
• Motivated, competitive and results-driven mindset with ability to meet targets.
• Strong resilience and persistence with ability to learn from setbacks and stay focused on results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with established customers and resellers across the territory.
• Drive new business and sales growth by identifying and converting opportunities across Hitachi products.
• Understand customer requirements and tailor solutions to maximise value and sales opportunities.
• Lead commercial negotiations with customers and resellers, including supply agreements.
• Maintain market and competitor knowledge to identify opportunities and risks.
• Develop and execute an effective territory sales plan with calls, visits and pipeline.
• Provide accurate reporting on sales activity, pipeline, and territory performance.
