Job summary

Track Magic Ltd is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across Melbourne and Victoria. You will work directly with interior designers, architects, decorators, curtain manufacturers and other industry professionals to identify opportunities, build relationships, and convert opportunities into ongoing business.

Expect autonomy to manage your territory and a strong emphasis on regular face-to-face contact.

Qualifications

• Experience in curtain/window furnishing industry is essential.
• Proven ability in business development, territory sales or account management.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Professional and confident when meeting customers.
• Excellent organisation, follow-up and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing new business opportunities across Melbourne and Victoria.
• Managing, retaining and growing existing customer accounts.
• Regularly visiting interior designers, architects, decorators, curtain manufacturers and other industry professionals.
• Building relationships with key decision-makers and identifying new opportunities.
• Introducing customers to Track Magic's drapery hardware range and identifying suitable solutions for their projects.
• Following up enquiries, quotations and opportunities through to conversion.
• Identifying opportunities to increase sales within existing accounts.
• Developing and maintaining an active sales pipeline.
• Keeping up to date with customer requirements, market trends and competitor activity.
• Providing professional product advice and a high level of customer service.
