Job summary

RDO Equipment is seeking an Area Manager – Construction to build long-term partnerships, grow market share and deliver complete Vermeer equipment solutions across Melbourne. You will manage customer relationships, use sales systems to track activity and drive growth to meet targets.

You will work with a Vermeer sales team within a values‑driven, family‑owned business that supports training and professional development. Travel within the territory is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience in equipment, machinery, construction or related industries.
• Ability to understand local market conditions and customer needs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long-term partnerships with customers in the assigned territory.
• Promote Vermeer construction whole goods, parts and service as complete solutions.
• Document, track and manage sales activity using company systems.
