St Therese's Catholic Primary School is seeking a dedicated Facilities Officer (Groundsperson) for a term-time position in Monto. The 25-hour-per-week role involves maintaining the school grounds, assisting with repairs, gardening, and event space setup, under the supervision of the Principal.

Qualifications

• Blue Card WWC Act required
• Ability to perform physical tasks safely
• Acceptance of Statement of Principles for employment in Catholic Schools

Responsabilités

• Secure grounds and equipment to keep the school safe
• Mow, trim and fertilise lawns and turf areas
• Repair and maintain irrigation systems
• Weed, plant and fertilise gardens
• Outdoor cleaning and use of high-pressure cleaner
• Assist with minor building maintenance and touch-up painting
• Assemble, move and relocate furniture
• Set up spaces for school events
• Gardening and caretaking of buildings and gardens
• Work with grounds staff and contractors on major repairs
• Assist with WHS documentation as required by the principal
