Guest Motor Group is seeking a Temporary Service Advisor for our South Normanton depot. You will be the main point of contact between customers and the workshop, ensuring efficient service work while delivering exceptional customer service.

We value organization and strong administrative skills, plus experience in automotive administration or a service adviser role. Kerridge/Keyloop DMS experience is preferred, with a blend of office and reception duties in a busy service department.

Responsabilités

• Act as the key contact between customers and workshop teams to manage service work efficiently.
• Prepare job cards and raise invoices in line with completed work and guidelines.
• Answer incoming calls and handle customer enquiries at the service reception.
• Liaise with workshop technicians regarding progress and requirements.
• Manage daily workshop workload to meet customer expectations.
• Book service and maintenance appointments.
• Arrange and monitor subcontracted work when required.
• Provide customers with updates, quotations, costs and authorisation requests.
• Produce accurate estimates and service documentation.

We are currently seeking a Temporary Service Advisor to support our busy service department at our South Normanton depot. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused individual to join a professional team within the commercial vehicle industry.

The Role

As a Temporary Service Advisor, you will act as the key point of contact between our customers and workshop teams, ensuring service work is managed efficiently while maintaining exceptional levels of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing job cards and raising invoices in line with completed work and manufacturer guidelines using Kerridge DMS and customer authorisation platforms.
• Answering incoming calls and dealing with customer enquiries.
• Managing customer enquiries at the service reception desk.
• Liaising with workshop technicians regarding vehicle progress and repair requirements.
• Managing the daily workshop workload in line with customer expectations.
• Booking service and maintenance appointments.
• Arranging and monitoring subcontracted work when required.
• Providing customers with updates, quotations, costs and authorisation requests.
• Producing accurate estimates and service documentation.
• Ensuring efficient workshop loading and planning.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Is highly organised with strong administrative abilities.
• Has experience in a service advisor, customer service or automotive administration role.
• Ideally has experience using Kerridge/Keyloop DMS systems.
• Is confident managing multiple tasks and customer expectations.
• Works well as part of a team and takes a proactive approach.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 9:30am – 6:00pm
• 40 hours per week
• 1 in 2 Saturdays: 8:00am – 12:00pm
