Job summary

Guest Motor Group seeks a skilled vehicle maintenance technician to perform repairs on light and heavy vehicles within the group’s workshop network.

Applicants should hold valid vehicle maintenance and repair certificates, demonstrate attention to detail, and have strong communication and logical problem-solving skills for accurate fault diagnosis.

Qualifications

• Must have appropriate qualifications/training certificates in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Attention to detail and precision in repairs are essential.
• Strong communication and logical approach to fault finding and repair work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs as per job card/instructions.
• Be conversant with LCV & HGV.
• Remove dents.
• Strip damaged areas of the vehicle.
• Weld new or repaired panels into place.
• Some light fabrication may be required.
• Ensure that the finished repair corresponds with the rest of the vehicle or prepare the surface for re-spray.
• Complete accurate records of jobs.

Working Hours

7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

40 hours per week.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs as per job card/instructions.
