Job summary

Hunter New England Health is seeking a Clinical Support Officer – Outpatients, Switchboard and Mailroom – Targeted for a 38-hour week, temporary full-time until December 2027. The role provides administrative transactional support to clinical services under the Nursing/Midwifery unit manager, with a focus on rostering, staffing and supply management.

Qualifications

• Experience providing administrative transactional services in clinical settings.
• Able to manage rostering and payroll-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely administrative services to support clinical operations under the N/MUM.
• Maintain ward/unit rosters and approve roster changes.
• Assist with workforce matters including rostering, recruitment, performance reviews, leave and payroll.
• Lend support in liaising with Health Share for staff pay and leave queries.
• Support recruitment and replacement of staff from casual pools as directed.
• Monitor and organise purchase of medical and non-medical supplies and equipment.
