Job summary

Westpac Group in Menai, NSW seeks a part-time Teller to greet customers and process everyday banking needs. You’ll handle transactions, advise on products, and refer complex queries to specialists with a friendly, helpful approach.

You’ll join a team focused on customer wellbeing, receive comprehensive training, and work across Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to support the branch with accurate cash handling and digital platform guidance.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with banking transactions, including deposits and withdrawals.

What’s the role?

As aTeller, you will be the first point of contact for customers visiting our branch and will work to create a welcoming and supportive experience from the moment they walk in. You will engage in meaningful conversations to uncover their needs, utilising your knowledge of Westpac’s financial products and services to support their holistic banking needs. By addressing their everyday banking queries and referring them to the right specialists in Home Loans or Business Banking, you will help ensure each customer receives tailored support and guidance. No two days are the same, and each interaction is an opportunity to make a genuine difference in our customers' financial wellbeing!

• Assist customers with banking transactions includingcashdepositsandwithdrawals

This is a part-time position working 19hours per week, branch-based role and the hours are across Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

What will I need?

• Customer Service Experience:ideally in a customer-facing role
• Numerical Skills:proficiency in handling cash and an ability to complete financial transactions with accuracy
• Personality:an energetic personality coupled with a genuine passion for helping people
• Resilience:ability to remain calm and composed whilst handling challenging situations
• Adaptability:a will to learn and adapt to new banking procedures and technologies
