Qualifications

• Experience in telecommunications and fibre optic installations.
• Experience with NBN MDU builds, commercial installations or high-rise projects is highly regarded.
• Current Australian driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Building and installing fibre networks in apartment buildings, high-rise developments and multi-unit complexes.
• Installing fibre optic and structured data cabling in commercial premises.
• Running, routing and terminating fibre and data cables.
• Terminating data outlets, patch panels and telecommunications racks.
• Completing fibre splicing, testing and commissioning.
• Installing NBN infrastructure, including PCDs, NTDs and associated cabling.
• Working at heights using scissor lifts and other access equipment.
• Travelling for away work and completing overtime when required, with applicable allowances and overtime paid.

What You'll Be Doing

Work will vary across a range of telecommunications projects and may include:

• Building and installing fibre networks in apartment buildings, high-rise developments and multi-unit complexes.
• Installing fibre optic and structured data cabling in commercial premises.

• Working alongside civil teams on fibre network construction and infrastructure projects.

What We're Looking For

Successful applicants will ideally possess:

• Previous experience in telecommunications, fibre optic installations or structured data cabling.
• Experience with NBN MDU builds, commercial installations or high-rise projects is highly regarded.
• A current Australian driver's licence.

Based in Stapylton, Queensland, Elite Fibre Optics operates in a prime location between Brisbane, Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast delivering telecommunications solutions across South East Queensland, regional Queensland and interstate.

We provide end-to-end telecommunications services, from site surveys and network design support through to the construction, installation, splicing, testing and commissioning of fibre optic networks.
