NECA Education & Careers – Moorabbin VIC is launching a 12-month Telecommunications Traineeship. Earn while you learn and gain a nationally recognised Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology through hands-on experience across hospitals, schools, and office buildings.

You will be trained and supported by experienced professionals while performing data cabling, CCTV installation, and safe tool handling at Metro Melbourne sites.

Join a well-established Melbourne-based communications and security company and earn while you learn through hands-on experience across a variety of commercial environments, including hospitals, schools, manufacturing facilities, and office buildings.

About the Role

As a Telecommunications Trainee, you will work across sites throughout Metro Melbourne while receiving comprehensive training and support from experienced industry professionals. Your duties may include but are not limited to:

• Data cabling installation and maintenance
• CCTV and security system installation
• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Working safely on commercial worksites

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have a genuine interest in developing a career in telecommunications.
• Be reliable, punctual, motivated and enjoy working as part of a team
• Have strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Hold a current driver's licence and own car, must be willing to travel to worksites across Metro Melbourne.
• Hold a White Card and EWP Yellow Card, or be willing to obtain them
• Hold a Working with Children's Check, or be willing to obtain one
• The successful applicant will be required to complete a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing.
