Job summary

UGL Pty Limited in Melbourne's western suburbs is seeking a Pit & Pathway Scoper to ensure pit and pipe infrastructure is installed to NBN Co standards, while meeting safety, quality and regulatory requirements. You’ll work autonomously in the field, supported by a collaborative project team, with inspection duties across new developments so that works align with project specifications.

You’ll coordinate with construction crews, contractors and project teams to resolve quality and compliance

Qualifications

Experience in telecommunications, civil construction, utilities or related infrastructure industries.
Strong understanding of telecommunications infrastructure and NBN standards.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans and scopes of work.
High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Current Driver's Licence and experience using digital inspection tools.

Responsibilities

Inspect NBN pit and pipe infrastructure to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Identify defects, non-conformances and safety risks, coordinating corrective actions where required.
Complete inspection reports, photos, approvals and remediation updates using digital systems including Apian.
Work closely with contractors, Field Supervisors and project teams to resolve quality and compliance issues.
Support quality assurance activities to ensure safe, compliant and on-time project delivery.
