Job summary

The Star Entertainment Group is seeking a Technology Risk & Data Governance Manager to lead enterprise-wide technology risk, cyber assurance, and data governance initiatives across Group Technology. You will liaise with risk, cyber, audit and business stakeholders to ensure risks are identified, mitigated and reported, while strengthening governance maturity.

You will shape risk-informed decision-making, enhance cyber resilience, and embed robust data governance across the organisation,

Qualifications

• Experience in technology risk management, audit, compliance or governance.
• Strong knowledge of technology and cyber risk frameworks, controls and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, PCI-DSS).
• Knowledge of data governance principles including data ownership, stewardship, quality and regulatory obligations.
• Ability to coordinate audits, regulatory reviews, risk assessments and remediation activities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consolidated view of technology risks, audit findings, compliance obligations and remediation activities.
• Drive governance and assurance across technology and cyber functions.
• Support regulatory engagement with bodies such as OLGR and NICC.
• Strengthen risk culture, accountability and control maturity.
• Establish and uplift data governance practices including data ownership, quality and privacy controls.
• Coordinate risk reporting and governance forums for leadership visibility.
• Partner with teams to embed data governance in initiatives and processes.
