Job summary

Starbucks Australia is seeking a Technology Operations Manager to shape the future of technology across our coffeehouse stores and Support Centre. You will lead operations, ensure reliable and secure services, and work with partners and vendors to improve service levels and drive innovation.

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you will own infrastructure, strengthen cyber security, and support store growth. This hybrid role leverages Collingwood campus facilities and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Senior technology operations experience in a multi-site retail or hospitality business.
• Proven track record in vendor management, service improvement and cost outcomes.
• Hands-on across network, end-user compute and cloud services in store environments.
• Experience with security operations: access control, patching and incident response.
• Willingness to be on-call outside store trading hours and travel to stores.
• Tertiary qualification in technology or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology operations, service delivery and incident management.
• Drive vendor performance, accountability and commercial outcomes.
• Own infrastructure including networks, devices, Microsoft 365 and cloud services.
• Strengthen cyber security, compliance and operational resilience.
• Support store growth by ensuring technology remains scalable and fit for purpose.
• Partner with Operations and business leaders to improve the store technology experience.
