Job summary

Client (NSW utilities) seeks a Technology Governance and Performance Analyst to support its Technology Governance & Performance function. You will work across performance reporting and governance, partner with senior stakeholders and take agreed priorities through to delivery.

This role focuses on front-end dashboards, streamlining and automating reporting and producing high quality executive reporting, working closely with Data and Analytics to align data connections, modelling and back-end

Qualifications

• Experience in governance, performance reporting, PMO, audit, risk or business operations.
• Proven delivery of reporting improvements or automation.
• Experience building executive reports, dashboards, KPI frameworks and scorecards.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and written communication across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement and automate technology performance reporting and dashboards.
• Coordinate the monthly Technology Executive Report; engage stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, KPI registers, scorecards.
• Translate business requirements into reporting and automation solutions.
• Maintain reporting frameworks, KPI definitions and process documentation.
• Build and maintain SharePoint sites, repositories and knowledge bases supporting governance, audit, risk and reporting.
• Coordinate governance calendars and annual work plans.
• Coordinate governance forums including Audit & Risk Forums: agendas, minutes, action registers and decision logs.
• Monitor and report on audit recommendations, risk treatments and governance actions.
• Publish policies and procedures as required.

Our client, a large NSW utilities organisation, is looking for a Technology Governance and Performance Analyst to support its Technology Governance & Performance function. You will work across performance reporting and governance, partner with senior stakeholders and take agreed priorities through to delivery.

This is not a data engineering role. The focus is front-end dashboards, streamlining and automating reporting and producing high quality executive reporting. You will work closely with the Data and Analytics team, who handle data connections, modelling and back-end development.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, enhance and automate Technology performance reporting, dashboards and executive reporting processes
• Coordinate the monthly Technology Executive Report, including stakeholder engagement, production and quality assurance
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, KPI registers and scorecards using approved datasets
• Translate business requirements into reporting and automation solutions in partnership with Data and Analytics
• Maintain reporting frameworks, KPI definitions and process documentation
• Build and maintain SharePoint sites, repositories and knowledge bases that support governance, audit, risk and performance reporting
• Coordinate governance and reporting calendars and annual work plans
• Coordinate governance forums including Audit & Risk Forums: agendas, presentations, meeting packs, minutes, action registers and decision logs
• Monitor and report on the completion of audit recommendations, risk treatments and governance actions
• Coordinate the review and publication of policies and procedures

About you

• Experience in governance, performance reporting, PMO, audit, risk or business operations
• Proven delivery of reporting improvements or automation
• Experience building executive reports, dashboards, KPI frameworks and scorecards
• Experience coordinating governance forums or committees, including minutes and action management
• Experience managing audit actions, risk treatments and governance registers
• SharePoint site and repository administration
• Advanced PowerPoint (executive and governance packs) and advanced Excel
• Strong written communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical teams
• Experience in a Technology, Digital, IT or Transformation environment
• Exposure to audit, risk, compliance or assurance activitiesExperience with ServiceNow IRM, CAMMS or Riskonnect
