Job summary

South East Water in Melbourne is seeking a seasoned technology leader to join the Operational Technology team as Manager Technology Evaluation and Assurance. You will oversee evaluation, validation and transition of innovative technologies into operation to improve reliability and asset performance across the water utility.

The role combines technical leadership, project governance and strong supplier relationships, with a focus on automated test systems, OT/ICS security and performance

Qualifications

• Engineering or related technical degree.
• Experience in technology evaluation and assurance.
• Experience with automated test systems for hardware/software.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and validate new technologies for deployment.
• Lead testing programs and validation activities across OT domains.
• Manage pilots, business cases and innovation portfolios.
• Collaborate with engineering, OT and supplier teams to translate findings into business decisions.
