Job summary

South East Water in Victoria invites an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the Transformation Office and drive multiple initiatives across the Enterprise Technology & Digital portfolio. You will adapt delivery approaches (waterfall, agile, or hybrid), lead planning and governance, and collaborate with sponsors, vendors and cross-functional teams to realise business benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree qualifications in Engineering, IT, Project Management, Business, or an equivalent mix.
• Experience delivering complex system integration with multiple tech platforms, vendors and stakeholders.
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong knowledge of PM methodologies (waterfall, agile and hybrid).
• Experience budgeting, resourcing, risks and project reporting.
• Proven stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capabilities.
• Experience delivering digital/technology or transformational projects.
• Experience leading proof-of-concept and pilot projects from requirements to rollout.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, delivery and successful completion of multiple projects within the ET&D portfolio.
• Define and refine project scope through stakeholder engagement and consultation.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, governance frameworks and reporting.
• Manage stakeholders, project risks, issues, dependencies and change control processes.
• Partner with business sponsors to define and track benefits realisation and business outcomes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, shared resources and external vendors to achieve project objectives.
• Support portfolio planning, project prioritisation and dependency management across the transformation program.
• Prepare and present project updates, reports and recommendations to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
