Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Carole Park, QLD is seeking a Diesel Technician to join the team. You will complete repairs and rebuilds on heavy diesel engine products in a service workshop under supervision.

Key tasks include diagnosing engines, disassembly/inspection, engine rebuilding, and maintaining documentation. Heavy vehicle experience and a valid QLD driver’s license are essential.

Job description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our high performing team in Carole Park, QLD.

In this role, you will complete repairs and rebuilds on engine products across all market segments (predominantly heavy diesel) in a service workshop under supervision

You will make an impact in the following ways:

• Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products
• Diagnose and repair engines
• Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and /or engine components
• Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
• Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation
• Assist with completion required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims and quality forms, via handwritten forms or business system input screens
• Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor

Additional Information:

• Full Time / 38 hours per week
• Rotational Shifts (Day/Afternoon)
• Overtime as required – Penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hours
• All your Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms are provided and laundered
• Domestic Relocation from across Australia may be offered for the right candidate
• Local Valid Drivers License

To be successful in this role you will need the following:
