A leading engine solutions provider in Australia is seeking a Technician to support engine repairs and maintenance. The role involves following documented procedures, disassembling components, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Candidates should ideally have a vocational diploma and be apprentice-trained in engine technology. This position offers flexibility; however, candidates must demonstrate accountability and effective communication skills. A locally valid driving permit is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Apply procedures for repairs and maintenance.
  • Disassemble and clean engine components.

Description

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Apply documented procedures and policies to complete basic repairs and schedule maintenance.
  • Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and/or engine components.
  • Assist with required documentation, such as work completed forms, time sheets, warranty claims, and quality forms.
  • Complete training in line with skill and business requirements.
  • Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation.

  • Product Repair and Maintenance: Repair and maintain mechanical/electrical products following guidelines.
  • Service Documentation: Create and verify customer, equipment, and technical information.
  • Technical Escalation: Obtain product technical issue information and utilize available resources.

Qualifications

Additional Information:

  • Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
  • Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
  • Locally valid driving permit (Preferred)
Experience
  • Minimal level of workshop experience required
  • Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
