Job summary

Cummins Asia Pacific is seeking skilled Workshop Technicians for our Mildura branch to service and repair heavy diesel engines on-site. Relocation packages are available, and you’ll join a team focused on high-quality engine care in a modern facility.

You will complete repairs, diagnose engines, disassemble and recondition components, and contribute to engine rebuilding projects with competitive hourly rates and overtime penalties. This role is on-site in Mildura, Australia.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trades qualified as Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Light vehicle mechanic or plant mechanic.
• Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in service and maintenance of heavy diesel products preferred.
• Experience with OEM equipment is advantageous.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products

• Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and /or engine components
• Engine rebuilding and reconditioning

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Mechanical trades qualified as Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Light vehicle mechanic or plant mechanic. Light vehicle with heavy vehicle experience will also be considered
• Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, and similar applications is preferred (ideally with an OEM)
