Webrecruit is seeking a hands-on automotive retail technician in Western Australia to fit tyres, batteries and exhausts, and perform ancillary vehicle services. You’ll join a small team and work independently at times, taking pride in high standards of workmanship.

Ideal candidates have proven experience in busy retail settings within automotive, with a flexible approach to workload and excellent communication skills. Training opportunities and company benefits are available.

Qualifications

• The candidate must be an excellent communicator with proven experience in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting.
• Flexibility to manage own workload and tasks across vehicle service duties.

Responsabilités

• Fit tyres, batteries, exhausts and other specified products to customer vehicles.
• Carry out ancillary services and promote additional products to customers.
• Maintain cleanliness of the centre and equipment.
• Follow management instructions and company policies.
• The role requires availability for the times specified by the Company.
• The role reports to the Centre Manager.

Hours

The Company's normal opening times are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm, Saturday 8.30am hours to 5.00pm hours and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm. Working hours to be discussed at interview

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to tasks and be able to manage their own workload, be an excellent communicator with proven experience of working in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting. The main objective of the role will be to fit tyres, batteries, exhausts etc in a safe and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be part of a small team, but should be equally happy working on their own and should take a great degree of pride in carrying out tasks to an extremely high standard.

Job Responsibilities

• To fit any product specified by the Company to customer vehicles and carry out a range of ancillary services to customer vehicles
• To increase sales of products and services offered by the Company, in accordance with procedures
• To maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis
• To comply with reasonable instructions from Management
• To adhere to the Company’s Policy & Procedures
• The company will supply you with uniform, it must be clean and presentable at all times
• To be available for work at the times specified by the Company
