Job summary

Webrecruit in Western Australia is seeking a flexible Tyre Fitter to join our busy automotive retail Centre. You will be responsible for fitting tyres and performing related maintenance while delivering strong customer service.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced retail automotive environment, excellent communication skills and pride in delivering high standards of work. Training opportunities and company benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a busy retail automotive environment.
• Ability to fit tyres, batteries, exhausts and related maintenance safely.
• Excellent communicator with strong customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• To fit tyres and carry out fast-fit maintenance to customer vehicles.
• To increase sales of products and services offered by the Company, in accordance with procedures.
• To maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis.
• To adhere to the Company’s Policy & Procedures.
• To comply with reasonable instructions from Management.
• The company will supply you with uniform; it must be clean and presentable at all times.
• To be available for work at the times specified by the Company.

Hours

The Company's normal opening times are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm, Saturday 8.30am hours to 5.00pm hours and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm. Working hours to be discussed at interview

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to tasks and be able to manage their own workload, be an excellent communicator with proven experience of working in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting. The main objective of the role will be to fit tyres, batteries, exhausts etc in a safe and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be part of a small team, but should be equally happy working on their own and should take a great degree of pride in carrying out tasks to an extremely high standard.
