Job summary

Lime Recruitment is seeking an experienced Technical Test Lead to shape and implement automated testing and test data management for a major technology transformation in Brisbane. The role spans test management, architecture, delivery and partner engagement, delivering a technically-led testing capability uplift.

You will work with architects, project teams and vendors to ensure designs are implemented per agreed designs, with strong emphasis on automation, API testing and test data management.

Job description

We are partnering with a large organisation undertaking a major technology transformation and are seeking an experienced Technical Test Lead to support the design and implementation of its future automated testing and test data management capability.

This role will suit someone who has come from a strong technical testing and automation background and has progressed into broader technical leadership. Working across Test Management, Architecture, Project Delivery and implementation partners, you will help shape the technical and tooling approach for the organisation’s future testing capability and provide technical design assurance through implementation.

What You'll Be Doing

• Helping define the technical design and tooling approach for the future testing capability

• Bringing a strong technical and architectural lens across automation, test orchestration and test data management

• Working closely with the Project Manager and Test Managers to support the broader testing capability and operating model

• Working with Architecture to ensure proposed testing solutions meet organisational and technical requirements

• Working closely with implementation partners to ensure selected technology is configured and implemented in line with agreed designs

• Providing technical and design assurance throughout implementation

• Contributing technical expertise across automation, API and integration testing, test orchestration, test data and broader quality engineering practices

• Supporting the implementation and operationalisation of a sustainable testing capability across the organisation

About You

You will be a senior testing professional with a strong technical background in automation who is comfortable operating at a broader technical leadership level.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Experience as a Technical Test Lead, Test Architect, technically focused Test Manager or similar role

• A strong background in test automation and modern quality engineering practices

• Experience contributing to testing technology strategy, technical design, tooling selection or testing capability uplift

• Broad experience across automation, API and integration testing, test orchestration and test data management

• Experience working with architects, project teams, vendors and implementation partners

• The ability to review technical solutions and provide design and implementation assurance

• Experience across a range of testing and automation technologies and the ability to assess different tooling approaches

• The ability to translate testing requirements into practical technical solutions while working across both technical and delivery teams
