Job summary

The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission in Sydney seeks a Technical Team Lead to steer the sustainment, modernization and secure operation of critical intelligence systems. You will lead a small ICT team, providing planning, development, maintenance and guidance for intelligence software applications and components.

You will apply deep technical expertise to ensure systems are secure, reliable and fit for purpose, with accountability for ongoing sustainment in both BAU and project

Qualifications

• ICT qualifications or experience in Information Technology.
• Experience sustaining and enhancing enterprise systems in controlled production environments.
• Ability to lead end-to-end delivery and sustainment activities including incident and change management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance on sustainment and modernisation of complex intelligence systems.
• Balance delivery, risk, security and operational stability across production support, enhancements and upgrades.
• Build relationships with business/technical areas, delivery partners and vendors; translate complex issues into options and recommendations.
• Apply critical thinking to diagnose system issues, manage risk and design sustainable solutions in regulated security environments.
• Lead ICT professionals delivering ITIL services to specialist applications.
