Job summary
REDARC is seeking a permanent Customer Support Technician to deliver technical product support across our 12V, towing and automotive power solutions in Mulgrave, VIC. You will manage customer interactions by phone and email, provide advanced troubleshooting, and contribute to case documentation and knowledge base improvements.
As a Tier 2 agent, you will mentor Tier 1 staff, assist with warranty assessments, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years' experience in a technical customer support or helpdesk role.
- Strong knowledge of electronics, 12V automotive electrical systems, or similar technical field.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and communicate solutions clearly.
- Proficient with MS Office and CRM/helpdesk software.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative team player with ability to work independently.
- Hands-on experience with 12V installations and diagnostics.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.
- Prior experience in customer support or service role is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical product support to customers via phone and email, troubleshooting and installation guidance.
- Manage and resolve technical support cases with timely, accurate outcomes.
- Liaise with internal teams to resolve issues and drive improvements.
- Maintain thorough case documentation and contribute to knowledge base.
- Support warranty assessments and advise on product suitability.
- Mentor and assist Tier 1 staff with technical queries.
