You will work directly with customers to understand challenges, demonstrate and tailor solutions, and help progress opportunities to a successful close.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical sales or similar customer-facing technical role
• Knowledge and experience within the NDT industry (Non Destructive Testing)
• Strong technical background with experience across multiple technologies

Responsibilities

• Support the sales team in identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities
• Attend customer meetings to understand technical requirements and help develop appropriate solutions
• Present and demonstrate a range of specialist products and technologies
• Support customers with the integration of solutions into their applications
• Assist with product specifications, quotations and the creation of commercial proposals
• Take part in field-based product demonstrations, trade shows and industry events
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure a high level of customer service and technical support
• Maintain accurate CRM information and support reporting and quotation processes
• Act as a technical ambassador for the company's products, services and values

We are working with an innovative, international technology business that provides specialist equipment (Tech/Robotics) and solutions to customers across a range of industries. With operations across three continents, the business has built a strong reputation for innovation, technical expertise and delivering solutions that help customers make smarter decisions.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Technical Sales Specialist to join their Perth-based team.

The Opportunity

This is a highly customer-focused, technical sales role where you will work closely with customers to understand their challenges and requirements, before recommending and demonstrating the most appropriate solutions.

You will partner closely with the wider sales team, supporting the development of new business opportunities and helping to move opportunities through to a successful close.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in technical sales, solutions sales or a similar customer-facing technical role
• Knowledge and experience within the NDT industry (Non Destructive Testing)
• A strong technical background, ideally with experience across multiple technologies
• A degree in Engineering, Mechatronics or a related technical discipline
• The ability to understand complex customer requirements and translate them into practical solutions
• Strong presentation, communication and relationship-building skills
• Commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
• The confidence to work directly with customers and represent the business at demonstrations, trade shows and industry events
